Today As generator manufacturer supplier we are pleased to announce the successful delivery of two high-performance diesel generator sets to our customer — one 800kW diesel generator set and one 500kW diesel generator set.

For large power generation projects, delivery is more than simply transporting the equipment. Careful preparation is essential to ensure the generator sets arrive safely and are ready for installation and operation.

What key item should be considered when delivering large generator sets?

1. Proper Packaging & Protection
Heavy-duty generator sets require professional packaging. Delivering an 800kW or 500kW diesel generator set requires more than simply loading the equipment onto a truck.

For this shipment, we used 6+ reinforced fixing points for each generator set, with steel supports and anti-vibration protection installed at critical contact areas. The control panels and electrical components were additionally protected with waterproof film and shock-resistant packaging.

Before loading, our technicians performed a 100% pre-shipment inspection, checking fastening points, lifting points, external dimensions, protective covers, and key accessories.

For the sea transportation stage, approximately 10–20 kg of desiccant was placed inside the protective packaging of each unit, together with sealed moisture-resistant film to reduce the risk of condensation and corrosion.

The 800kW generator set and 500kW generator set were then carefully lifted, positioned, and secured for transportation.

From factory inspection to final loading, every detail is controlled to help ensure that the generator sets arrive safely and reliably at the customer's project site.

2. Safe Loading & Securing
Large diesel generator sets require careful handling during loading. For the 800kW and 500kW units, we used certified lifting equipment with a lifting capacity of over 10 tons, together with designated lifting points to ensure balanced loading.

Each generator set was positioned on the transport platform and secured with heavy-duty steel chains and multiple anchoring points to prevent shifting during transportation.

Before departure, our team checked the lifting points, chain tension, equipment position, and overall stability. The load was also rechecked after the initial 30–50 km of transportation to ensure that all fixing points remained secure.

These procedures help minimize vibration, movement, and potential damage, ensuring that every generator set reaches the customer safely and in good condition.

3. Complete Inspection Before Shipment
Before shipment, every diesel generator set undergoes a detailed pre-delivery inspection. For the 800kW and 500kW units, our technicians checked the engine, alternator, cooling system, fuel system, battery, control panel, and electrical connections.

We also verified the rated power, voltage, frequency, safety protection, and control functions to ensure that the generator sets meet the customer's technical requirements.

All accessories, spare parts, operation manuals, and technical documents were checked against the packing list. Key inspection results were recorded before final approval.

Only after completing the 100% pre-shipment inspection were the generator sets released for loading and delivery to the customer.

4. Professional Delivery Support
Our delivery process covers the entire journey from Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to final shipment. Before loading, our team completes a pre-loading checklist covering equipment condition, accessories, documentation, and lifting points.

For the 800kW and 500kW diesel generator sets, loading was coordinated according to a documented lifting plan, with each critical step double-checked by our technicians.

Shipping documents, packing lists, equipment specifications, and serial numbers were verified before dispatch. During transportation, the shipment was tracked at key stages, with delivery status and equipment condition monitored throughout the process.
